I've only had about a year between today and 1994 without a cat in my life. This is very, very weird.

We lost our beloved this morning. She was the runt of the litter, born with only one lung. She had box issues, she survived surgery that collapsed that lung 6 years ago. Her heart was strong but her lung eventually failed. She just wanted to be safe & loved.

Her spirit was so strong, she was bathing & using the box up until the end. She was so strong, she was such a survivor, and even with that, she loved pets & purring.

I'm shattered.
