@multiburst ist hier nicht anders, denn bei Kommunalwahlen ist (rein technisch) jede Freie-Wähler-Gemeinschaft, die nicht in einen größeren Rahmen eingebunden ist, separat zu betrachten. Hier sind der Longtail halt "andere".

Figured now is a good time for an #introduction. I am a freelance writer and editor that focuses on the topics of neurodiversity, mental health, and disability. My debut book came out 2 months ago: Stumbling Through Space + Time: Living Life With Dyspraxia". I also serve on the board of trustees of Dyspraxic Me, a charity for dyspraxic teens + young adults. I am also a very openly dyspraxic + neurodivergent person, although I used to be terrified of public disclosure of my diagnosis.

@WilliamNB @ruari I do not expect any big things to happen, do some database tuning, maybe move the DB to a volume that I'll mount "nodatacow" for performance reasons – but even this should result in less than 5 minutes downtime. Much more work is the legal stuff: imprint and rules and stuff.

@admin @mattias my wife and I signed up on different servers and have the same issue. Wondering if it's just taking the #fediverse a little while to catch up with all the new users, or whether it's just server config.

Would be interested in your findings, as I'm planning on hosting a #Mastodon instance soon.

@leewalton @admin It took like half an hour until the new profile was accepted by other instances. Seems to bei at least partly related to some instances operating close to their limits. I'll move my own profile later today.
