Nothing important, just trying to carve myself a place to vent.
Dog sitting day five: trying to tire out the doggo has tired us out. Nap time for all! :neocat_flop__w:
Day four.. My wife and I are both quite tired of dog-sitting. We'd like to eat our meals without being started at, now, please. Never mind the fur everywhere, needing to keep her occupied, the smell~
We still have her for another day and a half, lol..
That word looks wrong, did I spell it right?? :blobcatthink:
Today's dog-sitting: she has found her squeaky toy.

Night one: dog was restless, making me nervous and unable to sleep.
Night two: dog was.. completely silent! Conked out, didn't hear her move all night - so I was also able to sleep well.
We're entering night three.. And the dog is restless again.
What? Why?
I thought we'd cracked the exercise levels and so on, but apparently not..
Day three: Everything smells of dog. I am finding dog fur in rooms she hasn't been in.
She is cute, though, I'll give her that :Blobhaj_Mlem:
The smell of dog is.. pervasive, isn't it :neocat_woozy:
My wife and I are dog-sitting this week. I've never had a dog, so my wife, who has quite a lot of experience with them, is taking it easy on me. She's currently sitting with the doggo downstairs, leaving me to work upstairs.
This doggo is a Golden Retriever, and the owners said she was "very well behaved". So far, that seems to be very true - the only sound I've heard in the last hour is the thump, thump, thump of her wagging tail against the ground, which is quite endearing :Blobhaj_Ani_Hophop:
@pippa My wife has the same thing! We think it kickstarts her digestive system and makes her hungrier than normal.. very odd
@penwing I did the same yesterday! Power to you, definitely worth doing, but it's a horrible form. Good luck <3
What a weekend!
I have gone out for multiple walks in the sun, done some very productive shopping. I have painted three paintings, and written 1000 words of a new fiction project. I have read a book, and played video games - and it's not even 8pm on Sunday yet! I still have a few hours of fun left!
What HAPPENED? And can it happen again every weekend, please?! :ablobcatbongo:
‘Largest ever human Pride flag’ created by thousands of LGBTQ+ activists in Mexico
@masukomi Oh so that's the Aro-ace flag? I learned something, thank you! And a happy "Absolutely not" to all who celebrate :p

My wife, muttering to herself: "Let's see.. she uses Himalayan Dolphin Baby.."
Me: "What???" :neocat_floof_owo:
My wife: "It's a type of Yarn! Don't worry!!"
Mastodon! We have sensible bedtimes.
My wife says, out of nowhere: "Please confirm your address."
Me: :neocat_catmode:
Me: "What?? What are you talking about, you LIVE here!"
My wife: "Your EMAIL, you have an email! Confirm your email address to register your signature to a petition!"
I needed the context :neocat_melt:
Justice Venkata Jyothirmai Pratapa rejected arguments that tie womanhood exclusively to reproductive capacity, declaring such views “legally unsustainable” and contrary to the Indian constitution’s guarantees of dignity, equality and identity.
