After reading their blog post and really agonizing over this for the last day, I'm changing my stance. The ways in which the internal use of generative models are discussed here concern me more than what I've seen in external pull requests. And indeed, the wholehearted embrace of the technology is quite alarming. It's one thing to figure out how to mitigate the harm from others potentially using generative code. It's quite another to accept the intrinsic harms of the technology yourself. That's the path chosen here, and I can't in good conscience go along with it. I too will be moving on from KeePassXC.

If I gave the impression that I was defending their use of generative code yesterday, I sincerely apologize. I was focused on the aspect of limiting outside harm, but that does not excuse its internal adoption.

Whether you're a middle manager in a Pizzeria or the president of the USA - it doesn't matter who's wrong or right - you don't air the dirty laundry out in the open let alone in front of the press. This is what rooms have doors for.

So I found that #DOGE is currently in the org I work at. Ive confirmed from 2 colleagues. They're going after contractors first, since we have mostly no protections.

I've been looking since Nov 6, but now things are getting down to the wire.

I'm a senior cloud systems engineer. Current is administering/developing #ArcGIS #GIS . Previously was systems engineer with greenfielding and putting together multiple ATO's. Before that, was systems engineer at a NOC.

I highly prefer #remote but can travel 60 miles around #bloomingtonIN
