@tasket Clearly!
We're so far apart in context that I don't think we can even have a meaningful discussion.
By day, I work in SharePoint/Power Platform development.
For fun, I enjoy fiddling with my #aquarium, riding my #ebike, tinkering around with #HomeAssistant, playing #Factorio, going to #MetalShows, #Grilling, and reading about spaceships fighting.
We have five cats, which are henceforth referred to as The Goblins.

More often than not, people arguing against LLMs are using straw men to do so... at least compared to how I'm using and thinking about them.
I still think deeply and with care about the things I'm trying to do, even if I'm using LLMs to augment gaps in my specific coding abilities or technical knowledge.
Oh ffs I don't need 2fa on my ezpass account. Is someone going to log in and add money to my pass???
@jefklak 😀
@jefklak thanks! I used navidrome for a while myself. I don't have a setup for ripping CDs. I have a USB drive somewhere that I could find and get working. I need to pull the trigger and an upgraded workstation as I'd love to include a 5 inch internal drive
I'm considering trying navidrome again. The workflow I'm considering is, purchase CD I want then torrent the music files. I don't want to steal. I just do not want to use streaming services for music.
When someone says „Scientists do not want you to know“ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.
I will vote for whoever is in favor of proportional representation and covering to the metric system. Both are superior to the currently used systems used in the US. 0 for freezing and 100 for boiling??? That's fucking brilliant man.

Def feel that #HomeAssistant isn't for everyone. I love it so please do not nerf advance features to make it easier for non technical users.
a sign that I’ve curated my masto follows appropriately is that I saw precisely zero toots about apple releasing some hardware we don’t need
@brennan I only care about and use 11ty. Don't know anything about the awesome stuff but doesn't feel like I'm their target audience. I worry 11ty will get sucked up and cease to exist in a form I want to use.
Y'all, I'd really love to have a non-Apple and non-Android phone. If I were a billionaire, this would be my pet project. I'd pay a small, dedicated team to create/improve/work on some Linux phone. I'd fund the stupid thing. I don't care if it makes money or not.
I wouldn't shoot cars to the moon or try to have sex with kids on some stupid island. Like wtf are these billionaires even doing man? How are they helping the world?
Hey folks, I created a slash page for my smart home setup! Check it out if that's your jam.

I was trying to come up with something positive to write about on my blog for today but I can't really come up with a blog length topic. Here are some notes about things I'm excited about though.
What are you excited about lately?
I made a dedicated page for my #indieweb themes and resources! (Also updated the preview image for my site <3)
cand no more than 20 characters
and of course you can't paste passwords.......... ffs
Can you believe there are still websites that prevent you from pasting? Crazy.
@xinit I miss old Twitter too. It felt like a global chat and it felt good to be a member.
Now there is much more fragmentation.
