Had my first visit to a nuclear waste plant yesterday and saw actual nuclear waste processing in action (behind a 6ft thick window), so that’s something to tick off the bucket list ☢️✅

I’ve been feeling the cultural burnout hard, and struggling with the idea of staying in an industry that is increasingly making me sick to my stomach. I’m hoping to glean some sparks of inspiration from the wonderful people at CSS Day that might help me feel that joy and motivation again for a craft that has been slipping away from me.

⚠️ ALL IS NOT LOST ⚠️

The news cycle is tremendously disheartening. Wildfires, the spread of climate disinformation in real time, genocides, the rise of the far right, removing fact checking and supports that protect vulnerable communities - it’s heavy.

We have a formidable amount of obstacles in our way.

But don’t lose sight of the fact that it isn’t too late.

Every fraction of action matters - and it’s not over yet.
