You know why I like Anthropic?
Chatting with claude on a product idea, and it told me this
"It's getting late in Melbourne. This has been a genuinely interesting conversation, Enjoy the rest of your Saturday."
It's the opposite of "Binge watching"
Difference between poetry and technical documentation:
iSight Camera, Time Machine, FaceTime, Aperture, Final Cut, Spotlight, Safari, AirPort
Current Generation Apple
Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, Apple Health, Apple TV, Apple Music, Journal
Next generation, may be they will start numbering their computers
MacBook Pro E5527
MacBook Air S2235
(Current gen Apple clearly got inspired by Microsoft 's naming convention... Too bad, they left the ®️™️©️symbols from the names)
I use an Apple watch and a Graphene OS phone. That's the best combination... Period.
You know why? You get no notifications! Yes, that's not a bug, it's a feature!
It tells time, weather, keeps track of your activity, and above all prevents me from pulling out my phone too often...
The correlations we detect in studies are just shadows of the underlying deterministic machinery - low-resolution projections of a high-dimensional causal process onto a two-variable scatterplot. - Claude Opus 4.5
33 books this year and Behave by Sapolsky is easily the best.
I'm targeting 36 for 2026 and started the year with Determined, by... Sapolsky...
Based on my reading patterns, Claude recommended these books:
Determined (Sapolsky)
Descartes' Error (Damasio)
Power, Sex, Suicide (Lane)
The Selfish Gene (Dawkins)
Thinking in Systems (Meadows)
The Beginning of Infinity (Deutsch)
The best part about LLM based book recommendations is, it is based on your interests and not on society 's interests (Ex: New York Times bestsellers or similar)
Started watching Framework's desktop announcement (yeah, I'm old and slow) thinking "Wait, did they get Sundar Pichai for a collab?" The resemblance is uncanny.
But...
Nirav Patel, has this infectious enthusiasm. A CEO, technically strong enough to hold up a motherboard and explain what's going on and genuinely delighted by it.
While tech presentations have become that Apple-esque reality distortion field, Nirav occupies a different space.
Seriously wanting to see this company succeed.
Sapolsky is... brilliant.
Saying that, this is the best book I've ever read is an understatement (and I've only completed 50%) so far.
This... is precisely what algorithmic news feeds exploit.
@rustickode Lissen
One if the best books I've read so far.
Behave - The biology of us at our best and worst.
Look at the chapter names! Such creativity!

Yup, totally clear to me. Apple version looks like the colour green.
