The max rate of this DDOS attack was 525 Gbps (44.93 Mpps) of a "TCP flood."
The Internet Archive does not have enough bandwidth to fend off that kind of attack.

@grumpygamer The only one I can't do is stop using Facebook. Living abroad, it's the only way to stay in contact with family and friends back home. And EVERYONE uses it here as their main social still. So basically stuck using it. We can't get Amazon so that's a plus, and haven't used Google search in forever. De-googling is pretty tough though since it's so intertwined from years of using gmail.
