This feels appropriate for the second thing I've ever posted to mastodon.

When I came over to #mastodon and introduced myself a few weeks ago, a couple of people I didn’t know made me feel very welcome.

@jen they are spur thighs so won’t get anywhere near as big as yours… Molly (Mum) and A’Tuin (Dad) are well over 100 years old. Then there have been 9 babies in the last 5years who are all doing well.

@quoll they’re spur-thighs (Testudo graeca) and are all starting to wind down. It’s still a bit warm here (SW London) for them to go down, they have their own heated shed outside.
