I ran into troubles upgrading to Fedora43, and switching completely to Wayland. Hence #EGL OpenGL bindings somehow cannot share the context with #OpenCL. At least on 580.95.05 @nvidia drivers. Need to dig deeper, however it pushes me to rewrite my whole-life fun project yet another time. Maybe I switch to #rust

The coolant refilled. Now it's almost without any bubbles, which I did not deal with at least a year (well, now dropping the temperature on CPU even lower - typically something between 40-70°C load dependant).

Today I disproved the 'buttered toast phenomenon'. I spread a thick layer of butter and honey on my roll and as I carried it to the table, the roll fell out of the plate. Instead of landing butter-side down on the floor, it stuck to the bottom side of the plate as it rolled over :)

It started as a school project for Math Analysis / Computer graphics seminar back then. I tweaked it throughout the years 'till using it as a GPU benchmark. (Vega Frontier Edition 270fps, RTX A4000 Ampere 340fps, RTX 3090 520fps ...)

This weekend I touched it a last time, adding some automake hexing to inline GLSL shaders into the executable to be runnable from any $pwd.

Not particularly useful, but it's a nice tutorial for OpenGL & OpenCL shared buffers.
