America really changed in 2016, and I wish that it was different, but it only made me realize that I am. I don't find diversity threatening, or think empathy is weakness, or consider gender and sexuality both everything and yet irrelevant. So whatever happens tonight I won't go to bed shocked, like I did that year...but I will do so dreaming of a better nation, worthy of its own original dream. I'm stubborn like that.

@Lizzip RUUUUUDE!
Well, we got the worst possible news yesterday #Earpers My wifeβs colon cancer is stage IV and they canβt operate as the cancer cells have metastasized. Next Monday she gets a port installed and starts the most aggressive cocktail of three chemo drugs next Wednesday. The hope is the masses react to the chemo enough for surgery later but current prognosis is an average survival of 2.5 years. I am beyond crushed. ππ
Plan to stay on twitter (for now) but
also feel like all websites benefit from #WynonnaEarp so here is some...π β€οΈ π (toot! lol)
@Lizzip riiight!? Lol
Ok #Earpers, I need all of the positive energy you can send me. Two weeks ago my wife was diagnosed with colon cancer. Today we meet again with the Oncologist & Surgeon to get the treatment plan. It is inside and outside of her colon and there are spots on her lungs. So it is stage 4. The GOOD news is she is young and healthy. Has no pain. The science for treatment has improved a ton just in the past 5 years, so we are hopeful with immunotherapy that we can kick this. #E4L πππ
@Lizzip My last home PC was pretty much a file server. Lol Now I have a Synology NAS. Love it!! You can even run containers on it! My wife is also a software developer working for SmartThings. This is a very geeky household. π¬ Oh with LOTS of home automation. Lol
@Lizzip yeahβ¦ as someone who attempted to do anything open source with Windows. π³UGHHH lol
@Lizzip it just works. Lol we have AppleTV, iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches, HomePods, MacBooks and everything just works sooo well together. Also, with my cc I got 3X the points with ApplePay! Soooo many points! Lol
@Lizzip itβs all good. I drank the Koolaid in 2007. No going back now. π¬
@Lizzip bummer. Android only. Lol
@karolynlowe Ok so far Metatext is awesome! On to the next!
