@tg9541 I'd posit that greed is prerequisite to establishing and maintaining the institutions of capital and markets and designing the mechanism of power concentration as a feature of a social ecosystem, but even if not, @peterrelph 's statement doesn't exclude those; the "just" is your own inference.
