Me on Path of Exile release day

Considering a return to streaming, but I would likely only stream on #Owncast or #Peertube. I don't want to support any of the corporate streaming services, and want fediverse to grow.

I am starting my second attempt at Final Factory, and I think I am starting to understand why it didn't stick the first time.

The core issue with the game right now is the upgrades don't feel impactful. There is no alert or sound when you finish an upgrade, you are never excited to use the new tech.

I can simply keep my existing factory running and continue to complete objectives and research without using something new until I hit planetary research.

There needs to be something that either pushes you into new tech, or makes that tech so exciting you want to use it. Much of it seems nice to have, but doesn't give me motivation to upgrade to it.

The Slormancer is releasing to 1.0 on May 13th. I played it in pretty early access and loved it. I am super excited for 1.0 and to play it again with so much more content. You should buy it.

Looks like #marathon is an absolute no from me. No tuning for solo play.

Letting me queue solo is better than forcing me to only play in a group or match made.

But I have zero interest playing a game that my options, as a solo player are:

Play a game by myself where the deck is stacked against me
or
Queue with randos.

FragPunk looks really cool and fun, but this level of monitization is a non-starter for me. I am comfortable with F2P games having some level of monitization, look at PoE, I love it. But this seems like they are going too far, and even if its a fun game, I simply don't want to support it. Ton back the gatcha shit, and not only will I play your game, I will likely spend on it.
