I can’t help feeling that the Bexley residents dressing up as dinosaurs to obstruct mobile ULEZ cameras have not thought it through properly. I presume they’ve had to take time off moaning about smoking bans, face masks, vaccines, health and safety and seat belts to interfere with charging drivers for polluting the air.

The Autumn Statement was already in danger of not passing, given that Truss says her backbench Growth Group of headbangers is almost the size of Sunak's ever-diminishing majority. But given that the 2019 intake largely despise Cameron, I think they'll also be itching for a protest vote in Parliament, and the Autumn Statement seems like a prime opportunity for that. The ERG have been doubly slighted with the sacking of Braverman and the appointment of Cameron.
