To start with, here's an experiment from a few years ago to demonstrate some capabilities of https://thi.ng/text-canvas and https://thi.ng/shader-ast to create a raymarching renderer outputting images in text mode (with customizable character sets to represent luminance).

@breaque @dojoe @halcy what is the audio stuff you use on Windows that would not work on Linux? for me it's mostly Native Instruments stuff that i bought and feel weird about leaving it behind.

might have a demo for RSync done now?! i think. i hope. maybe just polish and optimize some stuff... and change everything last minute to make sure we deliver after the deadline.
