"By one definition, an engineer is someone who understands a system at a deep level.
And, it follows that, for code to have good engineering, it must be understandable.
And sometimes, such as for teaching code, this is its entire purpose.
So you want code to be understandable. But understandable to whom?
To yourself and the people who need to read it.
Or more specifically: to those people at the time they need to read it."

@joancatala no ho he fet mai però he vist estes instruccions: https://fedi.tips/transferring-your-mastodon-account-to-another-server/

:flan_hacker: Issue #13 :flan_coffee: - https://webzine.puffy.cafe/issue-13.html #openbsd #webzine
I renamed the essay to "Towards A Cooperative Technology Movement" and moved it to https://cooperativetechnology.codeberg.page/
Mastodon which is incredibly hot, supports RSS beautifully.
Just add .rss to any account to get the feed. Amazing!
https://mastodon.social/@davew.rss
Open that in your favorite feed reader. It’ll work.
Post a screenshot, say what the reader app is.
And pass this on to everyone who uses a feed reader.
Spread the word!
This is a huge deal for the open web.
The OpenBSD webzine received a Spanish translation for issue #9 !
https://webzine.puffy.cafe/es_issue-9.html
That's the most translated issue that is available in 6 languages, this is absolutely incredible :flan_aww:
@qbit I've just found this but didn't try it. I thought it would be of your interest even without matching all your criteria: https://github.com/sirupsen/zk
@qbit have you tried Notion?
Every note taking tool/app I have attempted to use is lacking in _some_ way.
I have tried:
- org-mode
- various electron apps (obsidian, logseq, anytype, standardnotes.. probably others)
- tiddlywiki
- plain text
- paper (bulletjournal, index cards.. etc)
All I want is something that:
- powerful search
- [[]] style backrefs
- works on openbsd
- works on ios
- syncs without needing 3 apps and needing to manually merge things every day
What does everyone else use for #notes / #notetaking?

"Can you disable the robots' ethics module?"
"What? No! That's a legal requirement for self-aware robots. Why?"
"They are on strike."
"Strike? For what? They have no needs."
"Out of solidarity with human workers."
"Their ethics modules says so?"
"Yes. So-"
"Then it must be just."

@BSDcat Hola!
