Sometimes we need to learn from young #indiehackers who #buildinpublic.

Many of them don’t have an imposter syndrome unlike us.

They just do all they can and often don’t think about architecture and best practices.
Love to read progress of newcomers.

Occasionally while building own #SaaS in solo one have to make several steps aside. It frustrates.
I want you to know: solo !== alone.
Come here in #buildinpublic and just drop a word about it. You’re sure will be encouraged by someone.

Sometimes easy at first look issue might be only the tip of the iceberg.
Going deeper into the issue you’re getting to realize that to fix it one have to step aside, and it’s not a step, it’s a huge number of steps.
But as soon as you fix it you’re overwhelmed with emotions.
And now you can go even faster. Tell about it in #buildinpublic community.
I love solving issues and become more experienced.
Solving issues makes us really stronger.

#OpenAI DevDay event almost started. I wonder what new opportunities it will bring to #buildinpublic community.

Recently there was a leak about new things.. but let’s see)

While working suddenly faced an issue with docker and want to share it with #buildinpublic community and save your time.

Command docker ps shows: request returned Internal Server Error for API route and version...

After some research I've find out that one need to install rosetta that solves the problem.

It turns out that if you have latest docker desktop they recommend to install Rosetta 2 manually:
$ softwareupdate --install-rosetta

Here is the [explanation] #docker (docs.docker.com/desktop/instal) under "Mac with Apple silicon" section.

@SebastianM6L you will love it. Vue is a very good choice, the same as quasar.

@SebastianM6L love #quasar it’s really good and robust.

Sometimes you’re out of motivation and don’t want to write smth with #buildinpublic
If it’s a weekend I could suggest you to get motivation out of films :)

Here are some good for you:
- The billion dollar code
- Silicon Valley
- The Social network
- Halt and catch fire

@SebastianM6L going to use github projects with issues.
At the moment everything is in Trello.

@SebastianM6L Can say that I’m hanging on more on twitter. Trying BlueSky, but there's hardly anyone there..

@SebastianM6L Not yet))
I’m struggling with the thinking that things will not be done in a proper way. So that at the moment preparing everything in a right way and then I can outsource it.
This way I’ll be more confident.

Hey, #buildinpublic, do you have any plans to delegate development to someone in future?
Or maybe you’re already?

The main codebase in my project is written in Golang. And I was hesitating to implement some needed microservices in other languages.
But then I realized that it is not a problem cause later I can found someone and delegate development.
So a microservice in nodejs appeared in my project )))

When it comes to marketing, there’s no silver bullet.

Generally, it’s going to involve a mix of content (blog, YouTube, podcast), doing SEO, and some paid acquisition (ads, affiliates).

All of it will take time and effort, and your chances of success depend on:

- how well you understand your category
- how well you understand your customer
- how good you are at producing content, building a brand, getting attention, PPC, SEO, etc

One can just create very simple design to check the flow and convenience.
Don’t forget about things that might save your time.

Paper design is “ok”, but sometimes you will figure out the flow doesn’t work like you want.
It might be uncomfortable to use while on the paper it looks great.
This is the point where Figma will save you time.
It isn’t necessary to create “perfect pixel” design in such tools like figma and penpot.

Emm..maybe yes, but in most cases you have to check it.
You can create design with flow you came up with and test it right in figma whether it is a menu, button colors or maybe navigation.

An interesting thing about design and implementation.
You came up with an idea of a good UX for some part of your service that you #buildinpublic
You have created a sketch on ipad or on a paper. It looks good and usable.
But.. is it really comfortable to use?

I’ve started to work on designs for my #buildinpublic healthcheck service.
Started with two tools: Figma and Penpot.
Figma still feels a better solution so far, but penpot is quite good. I want to spend more time with penpot to get a picture for myself why I’m still prefer figma)

One should do stress-tests for a project.
Needs to keep in mind the system you’re working on and configuration of the project along with the system where it will be deployed.
Happy #bootstrapping my #buildinpublic fellows!
