@goldgust@blorbo.social I like to make a two minute sketch in a journal to show the general layout idea I have. Then I might write 2 or 3 colors that I'd want incorporated. Next, I show this sketch to my boyfriend and say "make this shit look good" and give him puppy eyes.

Once you make friends with a web designer, try that.

It works every time.

I recently found out that pixel's 2011 GDC talk on the development of Cave Story is available on the gdc vault.

unfortunately, the vault didn't include the english translation audio track on the video. i've re-added the narrated english version as a 2nd audio track to the video and uploaded it to IA.

mercifully, the IA's built-in video player supports multi-track audio. select the gear and click on the lines+headphones icon. japanese on track 1, english on track 2.

I've had my heart set on getting 6g initial piercings in my earlobes for a year, but now I am strongly considering getting it done at 4g (if possible). My goal is to be able to wear dangling earrings through a tunnel, and I'm seeing people recommend being at 4g to do that, as 6g might be too small.
