chrome and firefox now have parity on how css resize works when transformed - this means the css clicker winamp window works as intended in both browsers ^_^
(this kills css-only joystick controls for chrome though, so developing 3d css-only games is a bit harder now)
this is the first time i've got a google search takedown for my archive's site - turns out one of the archived comments in my yt archive has someone linking to nhentai and wanimagazine just blindly takes down all the webpages doing that?
honestly i think the right way to implement the liquid glass effect is to do an SDF-based uv remap in a fragment shader
it's trivial to implement, gets really nice results for any shape, and has minimal performance impact (way cheaper than a simple blur i think)
so funny when people take my code, add a few changes, and then release it stating that its merely "inspired by" me
bad apple

holy shit we found the skype bench!!

(very messy, i don't recommend using it, just putting it out there in case anyone is curious how it works)
it's a bit more fun if there's colors and stuff on the screen
tried to recreate the effect in just css/svg (far from perfect but pretty nice for a first try i think)
looks a bit cleaner with proper gamma
a bit of iridescence for fun
wanted to try something...
what do i even do at this point ...
