@lautmaler Looks great though.
Finished this Morvenn Vahl recently. I do enjoy painting gold.

@sebify I see the logic. We have a standard that requires a space between braces so the (!thing) is less of an issue but I am always in favour of clarity over brevity.
@kinmoku We usually buy the hard water one down here but occasionally treat ourselves to Gold. It's still good, even if it's not made with 'proper' water.
@kinmoku Mmm. Standard? Or did you go gold...?
@retrotechtive Beautiful.
@gilesgoat Can relate. ðŸ˜
@grumpygamer As I'm currently in the fire-fighting phase of Atomfall's post-launch period, can relate.
@jurie That's awesome! It's still great fun to play nowadays. Both myself and the Lead Designer on Battlezone VR were fans and referenced the gameplay during development. In that game's original story (which sadly never made it into the final version) the player character was called Riano Bolar.
@GrantMeStrength Ah yes. See also seeing them in the racks at a retro gaming fair.
Shout out to @iFixit for the excellent repair guide and the screwdriver set. Its torx heads allowed me to take the thing apart in the first place.
@rocky1138 @llamasoft_ox It's been going pretty well, I think, but yes it's a pretty cool bundle.
The operation was successful but took a _long_ time and was a bit of a git due to the desoldering needing some horribly high temperatures to melt and clear the old solder. It seems to be work but it's something of a miracle that I didn't damage anything in the process!
Today's task was to replace the left joystick on the Sprout's Xbox One Controller which had completely lost its ability to recentre (due to what appears to have been some sort of nail varnish incident!) Unlike a Switch joycon, the sticks in Xbox pads are soldered in. ðŸ˜
@rocky1138 @llamasoft_ox Likewise! I'd recognise that recycled timber anywhere.
@eniko Dammit, now I need to play it again.
WIll have to check if my old installation still works and what content packs I still have.
@JoshJers Ahh, that explains this. 😂
