@notbovvered as I’m hoping my first PSA test post radiotherapy later this month will demonstrate!
@cpev is that a folly?
Those of you who defected here when Musk took over The Bird, you’ve got less than five hours to head on over there and vote him out as CEO. #twitteroverlord #TwitterRestore #TwitterUnderMusk
@ShadowMan71 I originally opted for brachytherapy but (a) not many centres are now offering it and I’d have had to travel 130 miles to the nearest centre, and (b) when they looked at my bladder function pre-treatment they decided I was not suitable for it anyway, so I lost several months in that process 😳. Nothing but praise and admiration for the radiographers treating me though.
@ShadowMan71 good luck with post-op recovery. I opted for radiotherapy and am just over half way through 20 treatments. It comes with its own challenges but not (so far) a catheter!
Best wishes for the PSA test results.

@SitsThere we’ve had lying snow since Sunday. It was a bit tricky over the weekend but the roads have been clear all week.
This from the Government’s own report into the state of the health service.
“The sporadic injections of cash during the austerity years after 2010 were at best meant to cover [the service’s] day-to-day running costs. This dearth of long-term investment has led to a health and care system hamstrung by a lack of staff and equipment and crumbling buildings. These critical challenges have been obvious for years.”
We need a change of government and we need it now.
@SitsThere you’ve got snow I hear? Hope you are staying warm enough.
I love it in here. There's currently a hashtag named #thicktrunktuesday that is basically pics of massive, beautiful trees.
I humbly submit El Tule, an incredible ahuehuete from the state I was born, Oaxaca. It's over 2000 years old. "Tule" means "Tree of Enlightment" #Oaxaca #Mexico #ElTule It has the thickest trunk in the world.
@SitsThere yikes! At least the Eucalyptus has gone!
@SitsThere thank you. I was beginning to watch the tumbleweed roll by over here!
@SitsThere you’ll find this interesting!
