Flu vaccines have bugged me for a long time so I've done a little research.

Flu vaccines are not very effective; stopping only 15 - 52% of infections. For over 65s they are particularly bad although steps (adjuvants and recombinant versions) are being taken to address this.

I got my flu shot months ago. Early September, I think.

There is now a tsunami of flu happening in my region. Just out of interest, I looked up the percentage of front-facing medical personnel who have had a flu shot this year.

Depending on which numbers you find, and how they are measured, between 40 and 45% of doctors, nurses, and assistants have been inoculated.
