This picture is like a distillation of many parts of my life into one eccentric image. It was taken at a workshop I helped to facilitate at the Toronto Reference Library today, introducing members of the Blind community to 3D printing resources available to the public.

We've posted an overview and recommendations with regard to the passing of the "Take It Down Act" which mandates removal of non-consensual intimate images and videos, and deepfakes, within 48 hours of reporting.

We will update the post as we get more insight. This is of interest to US-based service providers, as well as any services that have vendors or payment processors in the US.

Update: This was our April 1st 2025 prank. It was a reminder that burnout is real, especially in volunteer efforts, and that it has no easy answers. This is also a protest about the social burden created by LLMs - often trained using questionable ethics - including on the quality of support resources. And sometimes with the ultimate goal of replacing real human interactions that make communities like ours so special. <3
