#BreastCancer survivor but diagnosed with a new instance recently.
Agnostic. Asexual. Geriatric.
I'm paying for every sin I've committed so no need to punish me more.

“Then, Joe Manchin said maybe he’d rejoin the Democrats and run against Kamala”
Stephen Miller realizing he approved millions in anti-Biden ads and now they are as worthless as he is.
I can easily support the woman who made Brett Kavanagh cry.
Gift article.
We thought so: "some of the most sensational charges Republicans have sought to level against President Biden and his son were based on lies."

Even gray kitty Nene likes the Westminster Dog Show.
Here's a gift article with a good explanation of points relating to the Trump indictment.
Bragg made a crucially important decision when he focused on campaign law. He changed the case from payoffs to a porn star to influencing an election. Now it's clear who "rigged" an election in 2016.

Netanyahu delayed but didn't withdraw his judiciary "reform" act. He's always been a wannabe authoritarian like too darn many others in this sad world. Am glad to see so many in Israel standing up for democracy.
Holding on to our fragile democracies and human rights will be the international peoples' war of the 21st century. We should never think the US is alone in this war. The wealthy want to suppress our voices everywhere so that we can be exploited fully.

If you see a person like me with a cane or walker at an intersection without lights, thanks for slowing to see if I want to cross. But if I wave you on, please go on. Don't engage in a waving contest with me to force me to cross. I'm catching my breath or waiting for some reason. Also I'm slow & clumsy and don't like to be stared at while I hobble in front of you. If I want to cross, I'll raise my hand in thanks or just start moving. If I wave you on, just go, please. Thanks.

Nene fell in love with this envelope. I have no idea why. After I put it on the floor, she rolled all over it as if it were catnip. But she's never reacted to catnip. It must be #Caturday
Are cats scientists? Mine performs experiments with both gravity & water.
The gravity experiments test whether it still exists by knocking the same things off tables & shelves in random trials.
The water experiments test, first, whether it's still wet and, second, flow observations of flushed toilets to see if water still circles the drain. If lids aren't closed, tests begin on how gravity interacts with water when small things are dropped into the toilet.
So is it science?
Queen of all she surveys.
Nene, the goosey kitty.
We expected it.
I'm 76. I've been scared for the planet since my 20s, have given time and money, and had little impact. It isn't your poor and middle class elders who are the problem. It's the wealthy and powerful. They don't care. Many people my age have given their entire lives to research and activism on the environment. You don't need me to be afraid. I am. You need Putin, Xi, the European Union, and the US Congress to be afraid.
I'm disinterested in the obligatory media panic over finding classified docs in President Biden's old VP office. They weren't stolen or lied about. At worst, it's a bad staff mistake. At best, it's another good reason to tighten security procedures around classified documents. I can't avoid the headlines, but I won't click on any story link, not even those defending him.
Another things I like about #Mastodon not using an algorithm is that my involvement here isn't driven by the need to post frequently. If I have a reasonable number of followers, I'll get about the same number of responses whether I post 10x a day, or once, or once a week.
At Twitter, to be seen in my followers' feeds at all, I had to post frequently, 10-20 times a day. Otherwise a person fell into shadow land, never seen by anyone using Twitter’s default popularity algorithm.
