Former Justin.tv menace and current work from home, stay at home dad, play at home old ass. Big into indie games, remote play, mobile games, and being a bad ass gamer on the low.

I needed my first toot to be about DooM for obvious reasons.
Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 is a bit addictive, it’s difficult to end a gaming session but fortunately the Switch hibernates itself when I want and I can continue the game anywhere later.

After many years in storage bins, I finally carved out a place in the basement for my NES. I've had this for about 35 years. At one point during the last 90s/early 2000s, I had over 100 games because I kept getting them for like $1 at flea markets and the like. It's slowly shrank over the years. This is about the point where there's nothing left I'm willing to part with. For everything else, there's an Everdrive.

Me watching my past self decide to try a box of sea salt Pretzel Crackers instead of buying another honey mustard.
Rolled credits on Doom: The Dark Ages. A boss battle or two too many at the end, but overall a really great game!
@64bithero The G Cloud is amazing hardware, but really it just came down to the screen. OLED and 120 Hz were features I wanted for a long time with the G Cloud, but it seems like Logitech is content just to release the one device and let it die on the vine (or take a really long time to update it!).
For me, it was totally worth it. If LCD and 60 Hz are fine, there's really no reason to get anything other than the G Cloud.
Setup is streaming from either a 3700x/3080 PC via Apollo or from an Xbox Series X via XBXPlay. Once in a while I'll use XBPlay (not to be confused with XBX) for Cloud games. Almost identical to local play.
I don't take it anywhere other than occasionally my SIL's house. If I did, I think I'd be a lot more interested in getting a Steam Deck.
@RxBrad Same.
Congrats to everyone picking up the Switch 2 today. I don't hate you at all.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only... fast typing.

Obviously.
Tomorrow I either make it to Amarillo, or start a new life in one of the many podunk towns along the way.
Nearing the end of Sonic Mania, and it’s been very nostalgic in a way that’s almost too real, as in I’ve never felt older. Doesn’t feel like it was over 30 years ago now that I was playing these games on a Genesis.
Christian Whitehead and team did an amazing job on this game.
Starting up Metroid Zero Mission for this months video game club!

The original Xbox is as old now as the Atari 2600 was when the Xbox launched.
Had a pretty great time in the Phoenix area, but glad to be back in Texas with my things and my moisture.
