Google is now marking EVERY SINGLE APK at our repository as "Malware site issue". Congrats, "Safe" browsing.

Of course there is not a single malware there, everything is scanned multiple times. And I bet they excluded *.google.com from their scan or the entire PlayStore would be red by now, too…

Calling out to all of you: Please use safebrowsing.google.com/safebr to report the links as "safe"!

apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/repo/co is the one console reports.

It’s interesting how many people think wanting privacy means you’re doing something nefarious. The fact is, privacy is about sharing what you want with whom you choose.

(I don’t recall who wrote these words or where I originally saw them. I only made the graphic.)

#Privacy #InfoSec #OpSec #BigBrother

Illustration of some eyes looking straight at you followed by text that reads “I need privacy, not because my actions are questionable. But because your judgment and intentions are.”

Twenty-nine years ago on this day, 0.1 was released.

I found the tool a few days later and within a few months I became the maintainer. We later renamed it. Twice. The last name it got is . It stuck.

httpget was my first insight and lesson into HTTP and since then I have kept learning it.

httpget 0.1 was written by Rafael Sagula, who unfortunately is not with us anymore.

AWS is down. A major AWS outage has taken down several popular services worldwide, including Signal, Fortnite, Alexa, Snapchat and many more. The specific cause of the service outage is currently unclear, according to AWS and they are working on fix. Yup, it is US-EAST-1

@nixCraft I don't use syntax highlighting 😅 (well, only minimal, almost all of it looks the same except some weight difference). It helps me focus if I'm already familiar with the code but not for new codebases. But I can't live without dark mode though

New comiCSS cartoon: CSS Nightmare
comicss.art/comics/192/

Inspired by one of Jim Benton's cartoons (linked in the code).

#css #cartoon #comic #webdev

comic with 4 panels in a 2x2 grid. Two characters talk: one says 'last night I dreamed that all CSS frameworks disappeared and web developers could only code using vanilla CSS'. The second person replies 'Oh, my! That sounds awful! What a terrible nightmare!' The first person first surprised, then ashamed says 'yes... of course... a nightmare...'
