@t36s What's the context of this post? You mean everything you need in terms of sustenance?

Will future civic tech be best collaboratively developed through Rust/Go, Python, or TypeScript (using these three as composites for types of languages. Rust could also be zig for instance).
Looking to find more socially conscious coders out here (especially in the nordics and the US). If you have recommendations please do pass them along (hoping to expand the diversity of hiring pools as well) #boost
SuperCollider has an official mastodon account now: @supercollider #supercollider
Välkommen @Noah !
Greetings from adulthood.. eating dinner with my laptop running streaming a webinar on tax filing from abroad as an expat. I am VERY excited about learning things
btw i'm currently looking for (remote) work within the EU! most likely as a backend or embedded software dev
i have ~6 years of professional experience in backend software, with occasional firmware dev and even hardware design (+ about as many years of hobbyist exp on top of that)
besides software i have broad knowledge covering most of STEM; any position that requires/benefits from broader knowledge would be my pref, but i'm looking for *anything* rn
to be clear, I'm not protecting journalist data right now. this is just general security research :)
@0xD7_ thanks!
Anyone have any advanced resources on specifically protecting data for journalists or others who might be handling sensitive information that needs to be protected from any/all potential eyes? From the tech perspective of someone storing the data rather than the journalists.
It's continuing research but figured maybe there are some gems from the mastodon community.
Please boost.
It's one of those Messiaen piano music nights
@celesteh super happy it was useful!

@celesteh Here's a repo with the client and a full example: https://github.com/scazan/OSCProxy
Admittedly it's a bit old now but think it should work fine with the latest node.
Side note, this is the system we used to record our tracks for the new Clipping album.
@celesteh ah! this should be open source.. lemme just remove the files and update the example
@celesteh just in case, I also have a repo for people to use that they install that handle the broadcasting of SC messages. it's meant to be easy to install.
It just has a few soundfiles as an example that I need to check with some people about whether I can just put them open on the web. But happy to add you to the repo if you want to clone it
@celesteh oh but the login is not handled :( but maybe it could be useful
@celesteh Here's the broadcaster repo you can deploy. The idea was to never have issues with ports so it broadcasts over websockets which are always open in institutions: https://github.com/scazan/wsbroad-flyio
@celesteh We wrote our own with bitpanic to just have something simple that would work. We deployed it to fly.io. lemme open source it here in case it's useful... one sec
I signed the contract today to play at the INA GRM concert at Centquatre-Paris on the 26th of April. I hope I don't mess it up because I heard that the audience will boo if they don't like it.
Anyway, if you are in Paris on the 26th and you would like to hear this music performed live, then maybe DM me so I can to put you on the list?
