For the record: My posts here reflect my personal opinion.
However, my employer's opinion is the same, because I'm self-employed, you muppets! *makes a silly face and leaves*
"I don't know about the stickers on your laptop. A Codeberg one, a Synthstrom one … I prefer laptops that have political messages on them, not just 'these are some of the brands I like'."
My dear, Codeberg and Synthstrom stickers are _very_ political messages.
@lennybacon @mass_driver Ugh, that website is unbearably beautiful 😍
And while I'm usually a fan of Iosevka for terminals and coding, the readability of its non-proportional variant, Iosevka Aile, doesn't feel good on walls of text, at least not if you ask me. It's okay for headings and stuff though.
What's your favorite sans-serif font?
I'm looking for something clean and modern to use in a blog and also on (paper) letters.
(And yes, I know that traditionally you're supposed to use serif fonts on paper, but I just can't find a serif font that doesn't look … "old". If you have suggestions, let me know.)
Replies with an example screenshot are very much appreciated, so that I (and others reading this) don't have to manually look up every single one of them. ;)
@schenklklopfer "Bettspanner" klingt halt komisch.
@Xjs Oh, I can totally relate to that 😂
By the way, if you haven't heard this one yet, I've got a treat for you:
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
@thilo Fun fact: The reason I've posted that in the first place is because I'm still undecided on whether the normal one or the Subspace Rhapsody one is better … 🤔
(Tacky Cardassian fascist eyesore.)
(And I'm saying this as one of the people who literally started crying when Lower Decks played the DS9 theme!)
Look, I'm into Star Trek since the 90s, but I have to admit … no Trek series has an opening theme that can beat the one from Strange New Worlds.
@LangerJan mhm yeah whatever
