@Sci_Fi_FanGirl some families here have the means to move to PR or DR relatively quickly but most don’t. Our refugee population is mostly documented enough to be safe under current law. Many kids are worried about deportation bc that’s what some students are harassing them about today

I deceived myself into hope. In my heart, I knew this would happen. I’d hoped the DNC had fixed things in time but I was wrong. They never really tried. I knew in June that these would be dark days and I’d begun preparing

But then I got complacent. The last few months have been difficult and it was easier to have hope

Today, waking up in Pennsylvania, I’m reminded how many people around me are evil, hate-filled people. And I’m reminded that liberals let us down again

I’m so sad and angry
