@clive great piece. Boss fights are such a weird phenomenon when viewing games as “art.” Art is usually made to be appreciated and experienced but how do you balance that with a game that requires linear progression, or one in which the difficulty IS the art?

@clive I’m all for accessibility options, i.e. scaling down or skipping bosses entirely, but then again I’m not a developer. Would love to hear the developers perspective. Would they feel they were compromising their vision?
