@Sixstringdas Welcome to the #fediverse! You will find there are several different tabs on the right side of the screen. A quick tour is that Local is your server. Federated is aggregated from all interconnected servers. Explore is your search function. There are no algorithims and all content appears chronologically. If you wish to interact with someone at a specific address you can either click on their profile or enter their full address in the search bar. Mine for example is @strange_aeons

We've nothing to lose and everything to gain by helping one another here.

@Aqua_unicorn Through the federated timeline everything is already being shared to connected servers in the greater #fediverse web, if you're looking to publish explicitly on a different local timeline you'll need to join that server. Since accounts can follow across servers, personal timelines can show content from different servers as well. At least, this is my understanding. Basically, have hashtags, will travel.

I cannot even describe the chromatic walkway of the phantasm.

It was already late, near my curfew, so I took a shortcut through the park, past the old well - which fell into disrepair before my Mum was born - when suddenly I heard a cough, a gasp and splashing.
That alone was strange enough in itself, but my blood ran cold when I heard my own, desperate voice cry out for help from the bottom of the well.
Then I heard something else, a wet shmack, and all was silent. I never ran so hard in my life.
