I've got the cutest hot pink side panel trousers on for therapy today. Complete with my purple and neon green Adidas trainers.

My right leg stretched out to show my purple and neon green trainers and black and hot pink trousers. My leg is partially stretched across the yellow caution strips on the bus floor.

Here's a description of the buddies:

Big Bad Beatrice is a tall, purple ghost-like being, with seven yellow cat-like eyes and greenish blue eyeshadow. She has a large mouth filled with big, sharp teeth. She has two greenish blue tentacle-like arms. Her lower body is covered with embroidered greenish blue flowers.

Sweet William has a black gumdrop-shaped body and a blue face with four lavender eyes. He has an open mouth and seven sharp teeth. He has long arms with hands that are like pincers. He has six lavender, lightning-shaped spikes coming out of the top of his head.

Lilac is a fabric art white gumdrop-shaped ghost with a gray face and sparkly purple eyes. She has a wide grin full of sharp teeth. Her body is covered with embroidered purple flowers. She has two twirly wisps coming out of the top of her head, sort of like horns. Tiny Tina is sort of a smaller version of Lilac, only her eyes are embroidered purple flowers and she has a little frown. Her body is not covered with flowers.

Here's a lovely photo of my fabric art strawberry creatures. The two of them are sitting together on a small pink and green chair. There's green fur in the background of the pic. The strawberries are red with hand-embroidered seeds and fabric, magnetic calyxes attached to their heads. One strawberry has three large green eyes with eyelids. One strawberry has 12 small black eyes.

I'm not seeing much comment on it in my feed so...

Today, hundreds of trans people and allies turned up to lobby Parliament in an event organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance about the horrible situation in which trans peeps find ourselves in the UK.

I couldn't make it, because I live nearly 300 miles away, I got autistic demand avoidance from not being able to find out how it would all work, and my MH would have made it too difficult. Still...

Parliament couldn't cope. They were overwhelmed despite having had notice of the numbers and some folks had to wait for hours to get in. It's been suggested that the authorities expected only a few to turn up, as happens when the transphobes do their thing.

Anyway, it seems to have been a huge success. Thanks to the organisers, thanks to those who went, and let's all hope that MPs listen and end this Starmer-led horror show that has many trans folk including me wanting to leave the country.

Something that bothers me as a #fiberartist: the number of people who are starting at various crafts (I see #crocheting and #knitting a lot) who feel the need to apologize that their work isn't great; that they're just beginners.

You don't need to be an expert in your chosen hobby/craft to share your work. If there are mistakes, you don't have to apologize ~ even those who've crafted for years make them!
