The second completed canvas in the whole ‘The Apostate’s creative awakening’ saga.. and the first thing I’ve created so far, while trying to fight the perfectionist mindset.. y‘know what, I’m more happy with this than anything else I’ve created during this saga. I told myself every time I noticed repetitive behaviours, negative thoughts, or felt myself becoming stressed because I made a tiny mistake, that
“it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t need to be perfect”..
I didn’t feel my anxiety consuming me like usual. Normally, my perfectionism causes me to become rather distressed and obsessive. But this time, I allowed myself to make mistakes.. and I love this canvas because she’s proof that overtime, I can fight my crippling perfectionism.
