Tariffs just got real: our first $36K bill with 125% + 20% + 25% markup hits hard 💸. These are upfront costs - due before selling a single unit - causing serious cash flow strain, price increases, read more! 📦 http://adafruit.com/tariffbill

There are 1×2×3×4×5×6×7×8 minutes in this month. Since every hour has 2×5×6 = 60 minutes, every day has 3×8 = 24 hours and this month has 4×7 = 28 days.
Thanks to v1+ features in @eleventy I've updated my 11ty Sass Starter to remove all CLI-based Sass processing and moved it to a plugin that takes advantage of 11ty features making Sass a templating language!
Also includes LightningCSS (as in v2 of the starter) and the update resolves the issue of enabling the transpiling during development/hot-reload ⚡️

@AccordionBruce @librarianshipwreck @accordionnoir I’m not really a fan of death growl (Cookie Monster) vocals, but the three tracks I previewed were amusing. The band is basically a Celtic infused bar band, so the vocals and operetta style lyrics are the only thing metal about them. For $2, though, it might be a fun thing to have a copy of.
Trying to suss out other causes of the problem. Not because the name has a space character in it; I have another list with a space in the name. Maybe because the list has over 180 users in it? If so, that seems to be an @ivory specific problem because Metatext doesn’t have any problem. Still needs a fix, regardless of the cause.
A question for Ivory client users: has anyone had a problem adding a followed user to a list when you are currently reading posts in that list. What I'm seeing is the list name is greyed out and the Add functionality is blocked. I can still add that user account to any of my other lists.
@bodhipaksa the Brooklyn Public Library is actively fighting book-banning by letting any teen or young adult in the US get a library card there to check out books online.
Books that are banned elsewhere have special treatment so they are "always available".
Any US teen can request a personalized reading list from the library, as recommended by a fellow teen volunteering their time.
Please pass this on to any teens in your life.
wrote a really stream-of-consciousness one about what i think makes a good website. target audience is mostly me, trying to look closer and more critically at my own process. :)
@acdha Musk can't blame Twitter distractions on the imploding of this project. It has been a shit-show from the get go; almost a decade of inept management. New York is partly to blame for giving them a pass and allowing the operation to become a cog in Tesla's self-driving aspirations.
“What really stuns me is that the company has been able to get away with, I think, if not outright lying to the state of New York, then certainly misleading the state of New York as to what it intended to do.”
I love this new thing where people make their websites literally look like a social feed (e.g. https://nerdy.dev/) and use POSSE/backfeed to bring it into the fediverse.
Need to fight the urge to redesign my site yet again...
What do you do with your Christmas tree in January? Strap a rocket motor to it, of course!
🖋 “Let's POSSE to Mastodon with a JSON Feed and a GitHub Action”
After building a Node script for my own POSSE needs, I thought it would be good if other people could also use it. I knew not many people would be able to use the script as-is, so I built a GitHub Action that is much simpler to use, without losing any feature, even gaining some!
