@curved_ruler self care time? my brain has a lot of down time. a walk? rest? good food?
@RJB_Mallacore sweet ride, bruh
Dynamic music?
Why not?
Because the track sucks?
I can fix that!
We've all kicked Bowser's shell for misbehaving but I do think we just don't want to talk about the extreme sexual polarization going on in what looks like an off-and-on pattern of kinky affairs.
@mythologyandhistory what sweet little beautiful beings. those adorable diddle noses.
#gameConcept explore addictive relationship to power
- you can't win by fighting. fighting makes enemies fight you harder. game becomes "hard". many players may like this, and play forever,
- but to win, they would have to work diligently to undo the evolution of their relationship to the game entities and become interdependent.
- or, because it's a game, start over and/or join a peaceful universe
@aparrish goblins prolly crochet
Not all heroes wear capes:)
Thanks to the #freecad devs who's tireless and enduring work on a #foss alternative to proprietary #cad solutions allowed me to fix a dryer rack:)
Not the most exciting "build" but it kept 99% of this item out of landfill and gave me some fun/education while I was at it.
Just a reminder that even little things can make a difference, you may not realize it at the time, but just keep on keepin' on, we've got this;)
@ulquiro I'm not sure what you mean would provide the stream of floats… unless you, the developer. I'm thinking the embeddings would be live input to the shader based on game logic or geometry sequencing, or anything else on the timeline. Could be static too (same every frame). You'd determine the embeddings stream ahead of time and control it with game logic like other assets. Just seems like something someone would be doing by now.
@ulquiro yeah I guess DLSS is in the category but I wasn't thinking post processing. Like for asset graphics.
@saifcodes you can take your truth and shove it where I can't handle
Has anyone written a shader that is essentially a feed forward neural net given potentially a framy-by-frame stream of latent space embeddings?
I humbly guess it sounds sexier than it would be in practice, even considering I'm avoiding calling it "AI," but considering the way graphics cards are being developed lately, it seems some of that engineering should Venn over on top of your frame buffers.
#indiedev
@randompotion i have done so.
Looks fun

It's so old -- it is in Flash 😆 -- but we've made a Windows version for download.
💔Three possible endings!
@travisfw Hmmmmm.... I got like 20 candidates.
While not my number 1 favorite, I think I'd have to give it to Starcraft from 1998.
@travisfw There can't be one, imho. Here are some of my old/all-time favorites:
- Deus Ex
- Portal 2
- Riven (aka Myst 2)
- Red Dead Redemption
- Broken Sword 1
Not old, but older than 3 years:
- Dead Cells
- Yoku's Island Express
