@1Bit 😮 are you able to connect to the other share that is just called "Molten Software" it's on the SE. Last week on the G3 I replaced the version of AppleShare extension that came with OS 8.6 (3.8.3) with 3.9.2 from OS 9.2.2. It made my connection worse. I'm going to revert right now and reboot, it might be a better connection after that.

@smallsco been a few days, I think honestly it slowed down the connectivity between my G3 and SE? I'm not 100% sure but it feels like it takes 150% of the time to connect to a share 20ft away now. I'm going to see if I can't use a newer AppleShare client on the SE (System 7.1) as well.

I'm also toying with the idea of adding in a 1/10mb switch between the SE and the network to see if gigabit ethernet is choking the SE's throughput somehow. I know they don't always play nice together.

I would number it 1.0 from a features/UI point of view but I want more people to test it and find the rough edges before I do that.

Last year I gave up on developing it further due to the horrible lag/freezes caused by the built-in networking support in HyperCard I was using, but with the new XCMD networking I’m feeling more confident so I’ve finished polishing it up!

Will soon disable support for 0.2 clients on the server.

@micheal funnily enough I am checking out these documents on my B&W G3, but the AIR router is on my Mac SE. The SE's file system is all messed up at the moment so if I want to open a document I'm doing it from the G3. However I can browse shares and upload/download fine from the SE. If I connect to shares from the G3, it's very slow since its using the network through the SE. BlueSCSI is arriving tomorrow so I should be able to see the image on the SE like you do as well in it's 1-bit glory!

on that note, it's funnier when I get an email of like 5-6 tasks I need to complete that day/week, and I just click the thumbs up

I think its kinda funny when I have to email status updates to the CEO and I'm just hit with a 👍
