Anything and everything Amateur Radio and beyond. Heavily into Open Source and SDR, working on a multi band monitor and transmitter.
Excited to experiment with propagation and currently trying to discover just how little power is needed to get around, so far my 10 mW WSPR beacon has been received 13,945 km away on 10m.

@AG7GM .. or you could put it on in such a way that it's doubled up and there's no residue on anything except itself.
@PeteGozz the only problem is that all software would need at least two stickers, most using one with Zero Stars for reliability and Five Stars for Oopsies.
Shocked, I'm telling you, shocked!
@kgoetz based on how much road designers care about pedestrians, I'm in no doubt it moved to a place that you can't reach by walking safely on a sidewalk.
@M0KHR but are you using them 😇
@M0KHR use an antenna analyser, multimeter and a labeller.
@M0KHR I've been looking at an item that costs $9.99 on AliExpress (or $2.47 for first time buyers) and $108 on Amazon. Same item.
Hey fedihams! I'm looking for a 12V input, 60W output USB PD capable charger, which should be RF silent and clean enough to use during a pota/sota activation. Emphasis USB-PD, it should negotiate 20V, or my laptop won't charge.
Any ideas? Googling and asking around didn't return much.
I'm honestly looking for something I can just tear down and add into my POTA case.
Dear #auspost , I DO NOT WANT your #DigitaliD service.
I should not need your shitty service to add my phone number.
I should not need your shitty service to add my address, or set a collection post office, or collection locker.
Don't wonder why people prefer other services, just try to use your own.
I've been struggling to talk to birds because the list of active satellites only had passes in the middle of the night. I just found this, though, so good! https://hams.at/passes
@zl3gj very nicely done!
Very first ever HF Phone QSO today…
On 20m with YO7MPD in Romania - that’s 17,588km or even further if it was long path.
Using my FT-710 into an end fed full wave antenna.
I was expecting to talk with someone in New Zealand for my first QSO, not someone on the other side of the world!
How great is the Australian political system? Smiling people. Weekend voting. Pre-poll voting widely accepted and not politicised. Preferential voting. An independent national Electoral Commission. Compulsory voting. The secret ballot.
Patient, civic-minded volunteers! Well-managed vote counting and scrutineers! Lots of polling places with short queues! Vote in your swimmers! Take your dog to the polling booth! Democracy dogs! Democratic sausages!
I still think we do this better than anyone. Pat yourselves on the back, Australia. #auspol #australia #straya
@ei8kd what is your evidence of this?
Can we figure out how much the Sun really affects propagation? http://podcasts.itmaze.com.au/foundations/20250504.foundations-of-amateur-radio.mp3 #weekly Foundations of #Amateur #Radio #podcast

It works!
Inspired by @Edent I'm now dumping real data from my solar panels to a git repo every day.
So if you have some reason to want a bunch if CSV files that show how much power my panels made, it exists.
@KC8JC I was leaving room for a mistake 😇
@KC8JC almost every time.
@VE2UWY just discovered that the LARGE and SMALL links are PDF downloads.
All is well with the world.
