Quick message to all fediverse newcomers:
Moderation in the fediverse is done by humans. There are no bots that shadowban you based on detecting certain keywords. This has some important consequences:
1) If you see a rule-breaking post, click the "report" button and write a report. The actual living, breathing creatures who run your instance will review the report.
The location of the report button varies depending on your client/app software: it's usually near "reply" or "boost."
2) The text you write in a report matters, because it will be read by an actual person. The mods are not just counting the number of reports.
3) If you're talking about a sensitive topic like suicide, you should not bleep it out like "sui-de". You won't be banned for typing the actual word out. You should instead use a content warning for your post to warn your readers. Some users who don't wish to see certain topics can voluntarily apply word filters to their own timelines, and bleeping words is rude because it bypasses their filters.

Apparently 100 people worked on the LLM Coca-Cola Ad to piece together a 20-something jump cut mess from 70,000 AI prompts. They could have just hired two or three actual good artists and saved tons of money/time/energy.
It is like corporations are fundamentally against paying an artist. I don't think we can even comprehend the amount of electricity and water used to make this slop that everyone hates, especially when you consider what it took to create the very models that the prompts were run in the first place.
Stop. Using. LLMs.
They are bad for the environment, bad for consumers, bad for society. They are bad for creators, artists, authors, musicians, and anyone else who create anything new. Also, the "art" that they generate is just bad for my eyes.
It’s the time of the year where people are waiting for leaks of the next #PreCure series designs.
So far I have seen a few, most I think are fake and there is one where I’m a bit torn because the design looks plausible but the colors don’t.
Every once in a while an #anime puts forth a frame so perfect I just have to capture it and add it to my #RandomAnime desktop background collection.

@xgranade I take a more cynical base position: "AI" is an attempt to prevent computing from becoming democratised. It enables a rentist model of extraction based on ownership of huge data centres and infrastructure, on stealing our data and culture en masse and leasing it back to us. It's a land grab and those perpetrating it will consider that it "works" insofar as it imbues them with wealth and political power.
Help me decide what I’ll draw for Christmas. I plan to do an illustration with 2 variations (explicit and non-explicit) and will post both of them here, of course!

Altraverse pusht für eBooks Tolino. Das ist eigentlich ein eBook-reader, gibt‘s aber auch als App fürs iPad (vermutlich auch Smartphone aber das wäre mir zu klein um Manga zu lesen). Man kann dort ebooks lesen die man bei einem von diversen deutschen Buchhändlern gekauft hat, der Bekannteste ist wohl Thalia.
Ich habe mal bei ein paar Reihen die ich physisch lese ausprobiert ob ich sie als e-Book finde. Von eigentlich allen Verlagen finde ich etwas, aber bei manchen fällt auf dass die Auswahl stark eingeschränkt ist.
Von Manga Cult finde ich beispielsweise weder Die Tagebücher der Apothekerin (Manga) noch JoJo‘s Bizarre Adventure als e-Book. Auch bei Egmont sieht es dünn aus (kein Atelier of Witch Hat…).
@animefeminist I guess that would be the German edition of #TokyoMewMew. If there was ever a new edition of it (like for other Manga that I have which are older) I missed it.
