This is one of my favorite games this year: Measure of the Earth from @MarcFigueras @zweigefuhle and SNAFU. Love the history. Simple mechanics but challenging choices and resource management. Artwork absolutely spot on. About 50/50 on expedition successes so far. #boardgames

@Poilu The designer, Andreas Pscheidl, is normally planning demo sessions on Discord to introduce the system and present the core mechanics. Possibly a play-through will be recorded and/or documented. But nothing before mid-February.

I brought to Badajoz a prototype of 'Abyss of Lament' (Legion Wargames) with the latest iteration of the maps. Demo sessions are available over the course of the convention for two battles (out of the 6 in the game): Leuthen and Lobositz.

A free mini-game prepared for all attendees to the gaming convention in Spain: "El Camino Español"
The game lets you pick one of 3 Spanish leaders during the Thirty Years War (each with different capabilities) to try to bring your armies safely from Lombardy to Flanders. Units face revolts, small battles, sieges, hunger and desertion along the route.
Size A3 folded into 3 as a booklet.
