oh dang i just made a snake game keyboard interface to #1MCB (the ONE MILLION CHECKBOXES GAME) but now the game isn't working :(

@GeePawHill as a player of this game i find it fun to be checking boxes and seeing sweeps of behavior come by and change the local rules. i want to make a bot that undoes sweeps - like keeping time-delay snapshots and if there is a big consistent sweep of behavior coming by after it to restore the prior state. i think there is a lot of space for play in moderated speed botting, sort of like the annual reddit space/pixel drawing board #1MCB

moments later, an unchecker bot has taken over the ~200,000 space, and organic clicking has taken over the rest. the alternating checkbox bot was a temporary, not a persistent bot. incredible ecosystem development #1MCB

@GeePawHill I think of the botting behavior as being a natural part of the ecosystem, and that the metagame is devising bots. the balance mechanisms in the game are slowing bots down so they can't just dominate all the checkboxes and small pockets of organic clicks can remain #1MCB

someone has made a bot to check every other checkbox and they are swamping roughly checkboxes 100,000 to 900,000. the tail ends remain active zones of conflict and there is sporadic patterning in the interstitial zone, but this bot is powerful
