I’m loving being able to see a woodworking community show up on mastodon, in a way that reminds me of early birdsite. Funny how chronological timelines work #2amt

NY indie theatre hall of famer Martin Denton is writing pretty actively over on MartinDenton.com and covering a bunch of turn of the century indie theatre productions and folks and doing it with the sort of positivity you need about right now. You want some of this: martindenton.com/2022/09/the-c

You can't, in good faith and full brain, scream for both living wage (or full value) pay for arts workers and unfettered financial accessibility.

So figure out for yourself what your preferred compromise is, and why you're so mad at folks for deciding on other compromises.

This is how one evangelises form.
Make it.
Make it accessible.
Make it anywhere you can.
Don't explain to producers why the thing they like is stupid. Show them your thing is a thing they like.

An intro post. I set this up in 2017, it's been a while.

I'm a who with Incomparable network.

I write & produce The Incomparable , and I co-created & produce Where or When?, a time-traveling .

I helped start the theatre ideas conversation on that other site, then a website.

I will happily do live events when and wherever, hit me up. Seriously, cos, get our audiences in your buildings...

And this is Oolong.
