It took me way more tries than I'd like to admit and almost made me think about quitting the game but I was able to beat the boss in the Shadow of Hope.
That third phase was just a bit too hard for my terrible reaction times. :blobcatlaugh:
Now I am back to exploring the map and having a good time! 🎵
I decided to start playing 9 Years of Shadows.
It is a pretty good metroidvania with some excellent soundtrack and art style.
But I am so bad at it! :blobcatlaugh:
Oh, well. I am making progress even if I am having to die a lot in certain places before I figure out how to beat a boss or where I should go. :blobcatlaugh:

I sat down and beat 9 Years of Shadows last night! The final boss battle is all kinds of brutal, but after grinding my teeth and the boss for what felt like an eternity I can say that I did it!
