On May 29, 2025 the Seattle Affected Persons Program (APP) Coalition invited the community out to the Heron’s Nest’s Creative Resistance Open Art Night to create artwork, be in community, and give feedback regarding permanent resources for victims of police violence.

This is one of many events we plan to host to be in community and gather input to create a permanent office in Seattle dedicated to providing resources to victims of police violence and their families the

Notes to the Affected Community.

During our last event at The Heron’s Nest, we offered the community the opportunity to write notes to victims of police violence & their families. We've attached some of those heartfelt messages so that those impacted by police violence know that they are not alone.
