My door is 30 easy steps along a wide concrete driveway from where my parcel was *delivered* - to the bush.

FFS. It looks like it's about to pour, & I was bloody well home, sitting in a quiet room, under a metre from the working doorbell.

Just as well I knew it was coming, & went looking for it.

My last Amazon delivery (same courier) was great, rang the doorbell, knocked, parcel left beside door. This one... 🤬

Well, I did contact #Amazon about the package they delivered to the wrong building.

The entirety of my conversation was handled by an automated system. This is a first.

Pro-tip: if you live in an apartment building, it pays to customize the look of your front door. This way, when #Amazon shits the bed again, the picture they have won't match your door, and you'll have proof positive that they delivered somewhere else.

In my case, I just put a mat in front of my door. When I see a picture of a door without a mat, I know they messed up. I guess someone could steal the mat, but they haven't.

(The door numbers are not always visible, so I don't rely on that.)

#Amazon shat the bed again. They delivered a package to the wrong building, and now I don't have it. I cannot complain about it yet, because someone might bring it to my door when they realize that it was not theirs.

I say "again" because it is not the first time they deliver stuff to the wrong building.

I was supposed to get an item delivered on Friday... it slipped to Saturday... then Sunday. I cancelled that order and put in a new one for the same item but in a different color.

This was yesterday. It was supposed to be delivered today... but... guess what... it slipped again! :catangry:

Well, to thank Amazon for their great service, I'm getting another item but from some other store. Amazon was pretty much a shoo-in, but after the crap they've been pulling lately, I decided to look somewhere else.

I found the same item but for less. Fuck yeah! 🥳

This is the cost of their bullshittery.
