While I applaud all efforts to resist Amazon, this does seem like a bit of nimby-ism. To really send a message, they need to stop buying so much from Amazon!

Stop setting yourself up for frustration and disappointment. Cancel your #Amazon account and pretend it doesn’t exist. Might take a little longer to find that item and to get it delivered, but it’s more likely to be what you want. Don’t get sucked in by the “deals” .. they’re not.
Just do the right thing an #CancelAmazon completely. They are an environmental disaster and are ruining local stores. You likely don’t really need most of the garbage you’re buying anyway. Pay a little more and wait a little longer to support the companies who make your products.

#BuyLocal or buy from the manufacturer or a responsible retailer. Or better yet, don’t buy at all, you probably don’t really need it! But most importantly, don’t buy from #Amazon. #CancelAmazon #AnyoneButAmazon
@JeffAndDonkeys @impermanen_ .. I hear you. But, can you order directly from the manufacturer, or a “less evil” aggregator? Among the many evils of Amazon is their total disregard to plastic pollution and the environment. Returns are often shredded and trashed rather than taking the time to properly process. They have created this culture of “need it now”. I’ll spend more money and wait longer to get things from #AnyoneButAmazon.
