Hey, I don’t know if any of you use Square, but apparently they’re giving away their contactless/chip/insert card reader for free.

If you have an account, you can log in and put it in your cart, where it will register as $0 (normally $59).

I did it, and it worked. It’s apparently a word of mouth Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday deal until December 4th. I got one as a backup, just in case I lose the one I already use.

It’s a handy tool. And even if you don’t use Square and are potentially thinking about it in the future, it’s a handy little device. FYI.

It is tough to see my 90-year-old neighbor, who survived WWII and was a refugee from Latvia, living in refugee camps in Germany, finally immigrating to the USA, to not see this current political climate as a problem. She has three granddaughters. She is of clear mind and body. Not a Fox news fan either.
