Right now I am pretty busy with my #MastersThesis that is due in December. I’m writing about #media depictions of #multiracialJapanese and having a closer look at how #Japanese daily newspapers reported on tennis player #NaomiOsaka.
In the three big newspapers Asahi, Mainichi and Yomiuri she appeared 15 times by name in their editorials. I’m trying to find out the patterns of how Osaka is depicted in these articles with a focus on the discussions of her roots.
