#audiomo 30
For my final Audiomo, I have created an audio version of a chart which describes the female menstrual cycle.
I use different sounds for different hormones so that we get an audio record of how hormones fluctuate in the bloodstream each month in menstruating humans.
Hope you like it.
To round off the month, for my #AudioMo for June 30, I present to you, the G4p Boogie, a short track based on that one tune from the Windows 98 commercial a friend of mine made last year. Despite missing a few days, AudioMo has been really fun.
#AudioMo day 30:
A more serious discussion with @ShortStamp about getting fit if you're #blind and have no idea where to begin. In it, we discuss Blind Alive, the ReVision Fitness App, the Alex Crockford and Mad Fit YouTube channels, and provide some small tips on staying consistent as you start your own #fitness journey. If you're like us and work out regularly, I'd love to know what you do.
Thanks for a fun month of AudioMo. Let's do it again some time.
#audiomo day 30: decided to rap this year's audio mo up with a play through of, what I think to be the best version of the rhythm heaven megamix final remix, or as some call it, remix 10, enjoy and I hope you like it
#AudioMo day 30
To wrap things up, I basically decided to mess around on Heaven Studio and somewhat ended up making what I would call "Screwbot Factory but instead it's a Fillbot Factory"
I haven't made any audio mo's in the last few days as a lot of stuff was going on at the time.
#AudioMo Day 30 my last Mo of this year …
The last day of AudioMo then: I put the Audiomoth out overnight again and it gave me a mystery sound. This was captured at about 11:30 last night. The Moth was hanging from a bird feeder and near our neighbours' gardens. One of our neighbours has an old Harley Davidson and I think he's got a spare starter for it. Took me a minute to work out. https://music.bedlamsteps.uk/audiomo2025/22/ #audiomo
#AudioMo Day 30 part 2: Here's an honorary mention.
I came up with this slow, plodding, barely moving thing about an hour ago and called it 'Incandescent Heat' because that's about all I can manage today.
It feels sad, contemplative and like saying farewell, so it seemed fitting to post again before the month runs out. Or in this case, slowly shuffles out in it's hot slippers like the old man it is.
@audiomo - Day 30
36.0 Echos / Echo #30 - Where do I go from there?
https://makertube.net/w/3dGN5qSbQGoJoUvD9LA778
Recorded on Zoom H5 (XY mic capsule or Rode NTG1), on several different days between 2020 and 2025, edited today.
Where am I walking to? I don't know. But it sure brings me on all kinds of different paths.
And where do I go from this last day of #AudioMo on? I sure hope I'll manage to keep up with this project for another 330 days 😉
No matter what, that was fun! Thanks all!
#AudioMo day 30. To round off AudioMo 2025, here's a Stu Hughes rendition of the classic Nokia power-on tune, in super high quality FLAC. https://thecubed.cc/soundhouse/Nokia_Power-on_Seediffusion.flac
36.0 Echos / Echo #30 - Where do I go from there?
#AudioMo Day 30: Here we are, the final post for the year, so let's end with something a bit fun.
between 2005 and 2011, I would hang microphones out of my bedroom window during the Notting Hill Carnival, an event that happens in London on the last Sunday and Monday in August. I lived on Colville Square at the time, which was a great place for some fantastic sonic goodness.
I would live-stream whatever went on outside the window, and archive it. After all the music was done for the day and I hadn't yet remembered to turn off the stream and recording, this happened. I'm very glad I hadn't stopped recording.
