The sky facing north from Reculver Towers in East Kent. Although it’s past 10pm the sky is light with a mostly green glow from the aurora borealis

Reculver towers facing slightly north east. The aurora is making the sky fade from green to the left through purple and finally pink at the right hand side.

Reculver towers facing slightly north east zoomed way way out. There is a green glow in the sky from the aurora, edged with a slight sheen of pink.

The view from Reculver towers facing slightly north west. You can see the crescent moon in the top left hand side, the reflection of the moon on the Thames estuary just below. The lights of Essex are visible ok the horizon, while a slight green glow from the aurora can be seen to the right of the picture in the middle of the frame.
