I don't celebrate #CanadaDay anymore for same reasons my friends in #Australia stopped celebrating #AustralianDay - we won't find joy in celebrations over #colonization & forget the #abuses that are still not fully admitted, #reparations aren't actually happening & #Indigenous #landdefenders still being arrested on their own lands.
